앱을 열면 지금 연결된 Wi-Fi 안에서만 TV 를 찾습니다(mDNS 와 SSDP). 이때 오가는 신호는 공유기 안에 머물며 인터넷으로 나가지 않습니다. 연결한 뒤 누르는 방향키·볼륨 같은 조작은 폰에서 TV 로 직접 전달되고, 개발자의 서버를 거치지 않으며 저장되지도 않습니다.
앱이 예기치 않게 종료되면 Google Firebase Crashlytics 가 오류 내용·기기 모델·안드로이드 버전·앱 버전을 보냅니다. 어떤 화면과 버튼이 쓰이는지 개선을 위해 Google Firebase Analytics 로 익명 통계를 보냅니다. 둘 다 이름·연락처·TV 이름·IP 주소·입력한 글자를 보내지 않습니다.
TV 리모컨는 Google AdMob 광고를 표시합니다. AdMob(Google)은 광고 제공을 위해 광고 ID, 기기 정보 등을 수집할 수 있습니다. 유럽·영국 이용자에게는 앱 첫 실행 시 동의 창(UMP)을 표시합니다.
TV 리모컨는 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

When you open the app it looks for TVs only on the Wi-Fi you are connected to (mDNS and SSDP). Those packets stay inside your router and never reach the internet. Once connected, every key you press travels directly from your phone to your TV — it does not pass through the developer and is not stored.
If the app crashes, Google Firebase Crashlytics sends the error, device model, Android version and app version. Google Firebase Analytics sends anonymous statistics about which screens and buttons are used. Neither sends your name, contact details, TV name, IP address, or anything you typed.
TV Remote shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob (Google) may collect advertising ID and device information to serve ads. Users in the EEA and UK are shown a consent form (UMP) on first launch.
TV Remote is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
