동영상 합치기란? What is Video Merger?

동영상 합치기(Video Merger)는 여러 개의 영상 파일을 하나로 이어 붙여 주는 무료 웹 도구입니다. 프로그램을 설치할 필요가 없고 회원가입도 필요 없습니다. 브라우저 안에서 ffmpeg(WebAssembly) 엔진이 직접 동작하기 때문에 영상 파일이 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 여행 영상, 강의 녹화, 게임 클립처럼 여러 조각으로 나뉘어 저장된 영상들을 하나의 파일로 만들 때 사용하세요. Video Merger is a free, browser-based tool that joins several video files into one. There is nothing to install and no sign-up. An ffmpeg (WebAssembly) engine runs entirely inside your browser, so your videos are never uploaded to any server. Footage gets split more often than you would think. Action cameras and drones chop long recordings into chunks because of file-size limits, meeting and lecture recorders start a new file every time a session drops, and phone clips shot in pieces only make sense once they are joined. The content is really one video and only the files are separate — hardly worth learning a video editor for.

사용 방법 How to use

  1. 영상 추가 — 합치고 싶은 영상들을 창으로 끌어다 놓거나 "파일 선택"으로 고릅니다. Drag your videos onto the window, or pick them with "Choose Files".
  2. 순서·모드 확인 — 파일은 위에서 아래 순서대로 이어집니다. 해상도가 서로 다르면 "화질 우선"(가장 큰 화면 기준) 또는 "해상도 통일"(가장 작은 화면 기준) 모드를 고릅니다. Clips are joined top to bottom. If resolutions differ, choose "Quality first" or "Unify resolution".
  3. 합치기 → 저장 — "합치기"를 누르고 잠시 기다린 뒤, 완성된 영상을 내려받습니다. Press Merge, wait a moment, then download the finished video.

합치려는 영상들의 규격이 모두 같으면 재인코딩 없이 그대로 이어 붙이므로, 화질 손실이 전혀 없고 속도도 가장 빠릅니다. 규격이 다를 때만 기준을 정해 맞춰야 하는데 여기서 두 가지 선택지가 갈립니다. When every clip shares the same specs they are concatenated as-is: no re-encoding, no quality loss, and the fastest possible run. A choice only appears when the specs differ.

개인정보 Privacy

업로드가 전혀 없습니다. 모든 변환과 병합은 사용자의 기기에서만 이루어지며, 완성된 영상도 브라우저 안에서 만들어집니다. 서버는 영상 내용을 볼 수 없습니다. 그래서 아직 공개하지 않은 촬영본이나 회의 녹화처럼 밖으로 나가면 곤란한 영상도 그대로 넣어 쓸 수 있고, 작업이 끝나고 탭을 닫으면 브라우저가 쓰던 메모리와 함께 사라집니다. Nothing is uploaded. Every conversion and merge happens on your own device and the finished file is assembled inside the browser, so the server never sees your footage. Unreleased material and meeting recordings are safe to use here, and everything disappears with the browser's memory once you close the tab.

정해진 제한은 없습니다. 다만 브라우저 메모리를 사용하므로, 매우 큰 파일이 많으면 기기 성능에 따라 느려질 수 있습니다. There is no fixed limit. Since it uses browser memory, many very large files may run slower on lower-spec devices.
얼마나 걸리나요? · How long does it take?
규격이 같은 영상끼리는 재인코딩을 하지 않으므로 몇 초 안에 끝납니다. 해상도나 코덱이 달라 다시 인코딩해야 하면 영상 길이와 기기 성능에 비례해 시간이 늘어납니다. Clips that already share specs finish in seconds because nothing is re-encoded. If resolutions or codecs differ, the run scales with total length and your device's speed.
순서를 바꿀 수 있나요? · Can I reorder the clips?
파일 목록에 보이는 위에서 아래 순서 그대로 이어집니다. 순서를 바꾸려면 목록을 비우고 원하는 순서로 다시 넣어 주세요. Clips are joined in the order shown in the list, top to bottom. To change it, clear the list and add the files again in the order you want.

처음 엔진(약 10MB)을 받을 때만 필요합니다. 그 뒤로 병합 자체는 오프라인에서도 동작합니다. Only for the first engine download (~10MB). After that, merging itself works offline.
