What gets listed

Sitedex is a hand-checked directory. Every entry is opened and used before it goes in, and dead links are removed when we find them. We look for tools and references that solve one thing well and are usable without an account — a site that demands a sign-up before it shows you anything rarely makes it in.

What happens next

  1. Your submission is queued — it is not published straight away.
  2. We open the site, check that it works, and write a short description in five languages.
  3. If it fits, it appears in a category. If not, it is dropped quietly — we do not send rejection notices.

What we skip

Paywalled services with no usable free tier, link aggregators that only point elsewhere, sites that are mostly ads, anything that needs an install to see what it does, and pages that no longer load. Duplicates are rejected automatically — if the URL is already listed or already waiting, the form will tell you.
